In this age of large department stores and high street chains it is refreshing to find an independent shop where you can get friendly personal service in a quiet, unrushed atmosphere.

Thank you very much indeed for being so helpful over my request for hand-rolled handkerchiefs and your linen dishcloths - beautifully packed by Louise, and for sending them so promptly. It is such a pleasure and relief to find there is still such good personal service, instead of struggling with the internet or telephone recorded voices and endless music.
